Composition :
Active substances: Each capsule contains 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride.
Excipients: LACTOSE monohydrate, maize starch, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), quinoline yellow (E104), indigotine (E132), iron oxide yellow (E172) and iron oxide black (E172).
Dosage
This medicine is intended for adults and children over 8 years of age.
The recommended dosage is:
Adults with acute (sudden) diarrhoea
Start with 2 capsules (4 mg) at once. Then take 1 capsule after each subsequent loose stool
(2 mg), as long as the diarrhea lasts. Never take more than 8 capsules (16 mg) in one day.
Adults with chronic (long-lasting) diarrhoea
Start with 2 capsules (4 mg) per day. This dose should be adjusted until you are 1 to 2 times a day
have solid stools. Usually this is achieved with 1 to 6 capsules (2 to 12 mg) per day. Take
never more than 8 capsules (16 mg) in one day.
Use in children
Children over 8 years old with acute diarrhoea
